The Masterless - 01. "The 'Yes or No'" [M. Dalí side-project] by M. Dalí published on 2011-12-10T06:19:42Z Done with nothing more than some vocals and various forms of breathing (some more blatant than others) The abuse of high-gain from a good preamp source (Apogee). It is expressive. In this piece the symphonic gestures are usually the hums hardly uttered -- use of alternative forms of breathing, as opposed to direct vocalization. There were no samples used here. Feel and perhaps, enjoy. Lyrics: "The 'Yes or No'" by The Masterless (Chant I - Provoke) Run on away. Woe, run away. Run away. Run away. (Chant II - Invoke) Keep at bay, for my heart grows cold -- crystalizing children; keeping static among wound-ridden thoughts. I'm Left right there and I know. And I know. The development of the track is wonderful and could quite easily be turned into a high quality long-form piece. Thanks for sharing it. 2011-12-10T10:11:25Z Comment by Colin Stevens An interesting technique with which you've produced a true drone of quality Mahatma. The opening sounded like one of my old Hi-Fi amps - just before it packed up working! 2011-12-10T09:22:28Z Comment by UnconsciousLaws NIce work :) 2011-12-10T08:41:12Z Comment by lydergold c'mon mahatma....you got a ton of dam fine tracks.... start releasing some if em mate!
