GTFROG.LS4903.030311.8.04PM +++ by Vicki Powys published on 2011-11-28T01:01:47Z Distress call of a Green Tree Frog, calling from the cavity of a brick wall while it was being attacked by a house mouse, Capertee Valley, NSW. 3rd March 2011, 8.04 pm. During last summer I often heard this call around my house and it was a long time before I worked out what it was, and that the mice (during a mouse plague) were eating the frogs alive. After the first sequence are three more calls that Tom Tarrant of Birding-aus recorded as 'mystery calls' and thought they could be an owl. I think Tom's mystery calls are the distress calls of a Green Tree Frog. Genre frog Comment by wildearthvoices That's amazing. 2011-11-28T02:02:25Z Comment by Vicki Powys distress call of Green Tree Frog 2011-11-28T01:03:25Z Comment by Vicki Powys extracts from Tom Tarrant's 'mystery' recording 2011-11-28T01:02:55Z
