Wondrous Sweeping by Paul Compton published on 2011-06-04T03:15:17Z After a spate of beat-oriented tech-house tracks as of late, I busted out the synthesizers in search of melody and warmth. All synths are from Reaktor: F'lagellum, Hephaistos, Titan and Junatik. I used Arhtropod 3 (recent Reaktor upload) to compress and EQ the kick. Another recent Reaktor upload, MultiTapDelay used in two instances. A Reaktor flanger was used on the toms. "Variety of Sound" free plug-ins used generously throughout -- BootsyEQ on all the synths, NastyVCS on a couple of the synths, and Ferric TDS on two separate drum busses. Speaking of the drums, they were made with two new BooTweak for Kontakt kits using the free to download "The Machine" drum samples. More info at bootweak.com. I uploaded 10 new kits to the cloud using these samples. One Ace Tone kit and an Akai XE-10 kit were used in the track, lending the retro drumtrack feel. Are the toms too cheesy, though? lol Genre Retro Progressive Comment by G.U.R.I Wicked man! Really nice work!! 2011-07-16T17:03:55Z
